FAQ's About Dustless Blasting

Can you work around the public?

Yes. We schedule off-hours when needed, set barricades, and use wet methods and containment to limit migration. We coordinate with facility managers on access and noise windows.

Our foreman performs a test patch and tunes media and pressure to the substrate. On softer materials (historic brick, wood), we use conservative settings to preserve character while removing coatings.

Not 100%. Wet abrasive blasting significantly reduces dust, but some dust can still be generated from the substrate and media; we use controls and PPE accordingly.

No. The water serves as a cushion to absorb friction and reduce heat, making dustless blasting much less likely to cause warping than dry blasting.

Very versatile: effective on metal (steel, aluminum, galvanized), wood, brick/masonry, concrete, fiberglass, plastic, and composite materials, often safe even on delicate or historic substrates.

Yes, there is less dust, often using recycled media, and less water consumption than pressure washing. Cleanup is more contained and site-friendly.
